How much more...?

Postby Nancy » Sun Apr 22, 2012 12:34 pm

I think my HP believes I can take more than I do. In addition to our journey with AS, last night we were 'blessed' with a distraction. AS had crashed my car and his car within 7 days of each other back in Jan, got my car back in March. Last night my daughter topped him. She hit my husbands Lexus with my car, panicked backed up hit the garage did damage to the house, kept going and backed into my sons audi.

Trying to breath deeply, but I thought my hubby had a heart attack when she woke us last night to tell us.

We are both at our breaking point.

Yes living life on lifes terms
seems like a cruel joke at times.
I guess it just builds character
and shows us how bad we need
our program in all areas of our life.
Thankfully noone was hurt.

Oh geez, talk about a chain reaction! Living life on life's term has got to be one of the hardest things to do for me. I'm grateful (oh my, that's 5 gratitudes in one day) that I can come here and share.

Love,
Kathy

Gosh Nancy!

Reminds me of how any cars my son crashed within several months, one he flipped over, another one he crashed within hrs of picking it up from the repair shop.

The best was when my mom, who lives in a retirement community, drove into the wrong driveway, couldn’t understand why her garage door wouldn’t open and drove right thru her neighbor’s garage door. I was ‘summoned’ to the facility. I got an education with this situation! :o
Gratitude…no one was hurt!

Yes, deep breathing helps. It will work out. Developing a sense of humor has helped me to accept the thing I cannot change! ;)

OMG Nancy!

Sounds like some kind of award winning car crash-a-thon :o ! I am so sorry. Sometimes things just do not let up. Hopefully, you can work it out with the insurance. I know I developed an up close and personal relationship for awhile with my insurance agent  !

Love,
Linda

We can not afford to make a claim, so it will be cash out of pocket. I have to drop out of school, get a job that works around ds appointments and school schedule plus my dd's (who was the one who crashed, not my son (typo above) work schedule. We are going to have to try and sell my sons car to help pay for stuff, and we are considering pawning whats left of the silver (AS already sold a lot of it). And knowing all this, my daughter is acting like a spoiled brat. She had plans to drive 4 hours away for a trip with boyfriend and now hubby wont let her take the car that far. Knowing that her father could die at any time, trying to get her own way, she told him she wished he would just drop dead.

Done ranting.
