Dear George,

I am sorry that you feel that this is not the safest place, however, I am
a strong supporter of this forum.

I love the 3 categories now. I think we should have done it years ago. People
asked for them and we received. Sounds good enough for me.

Have there been deletions over the years? Yup! Have we censored graphic language?
Yup! Do we long on multiple times a day to delete the graphic porn so that members
don't have to see it? Yup! Have we made mistakes? Yup! Still...... I'll take the safety
I feel anyday.

Hope that you'll keep coming back.
Love Brenda

George,

I'm sorry you don't feel great here anymore. I DO. We've made suggestions over the years....and most have been enacted.

No, we don't vote for every thing...it's ok.

This new way is da bomb...shoulda thought it years before. Makes it so much easier to read.

Have things been deleted over the years...yup...not much considering the amount of posting done,
Have there been mistakes? yup...amends are made and we move forward. We don't get stuck in the rare mistake that happens.
Do our mods spend countless hours DELETING SPAM....yup...and I'm grateful. I dont' want to buy Viagra or drugs.
Do we occasionally have personality issues here.....Yup...with a group this large...you WILL have arguments. It's life.

Do we have GREAT recovery going on round here....YES INDEEDY.
Do we have great meetings in our chatroom? YES........they are averaging 25 folks a meeting and MOST also go f2f.
Do we have new countries joining us every month......YES we do. Most don't even have Nar-anon in their countries yet.

Did we lose some long time members.....YUP...it happens. Folks move on.

I feel very safe here....always have. Is it a problem that this is a service that Area10 provides as a tool in my recovery....NOPE.

We've stood the test of time...been here for 15 years now. I hope we'll be here for 15 more.
DONE
Love,
Sharon

i want to say what i want when i want and where i want.

Me too! :D Sometimes I do, in the privacy of my home, or with my sponsor or some one else I trust in the program. I try to think before I speak. Mostly because I have to deal with the consequences of what I say. I am trying to be gentle these days. I am trying to mind my own business these days. It is what I am I learning to do. It works so much better for me. Just me. Take what you can. Love KP

I'm sorry if you find it a bit much.I personally like the 3 different types now,as a matter of fact,i'm the one who suggested we have a place just for OT stuff. It's not because i wanted censorship or anything,it was because it just makes things easier to navigate.Sometimes i just wanna read OT stuff, sometimes i just wanna read recovery stuff....now i don't have to sort through all the posts to find what i'm looking for. :)
